ANT integration questions

What does the ANT-01A measure?

ANT-01A is a solid-state FMCW LiDAR platform that acquires 1,024 parallel points per line and measures range and radial velocity. Current platform references include a 120° × 30° field of view and 30 Hz scan rate; confirm the exact configuration and interface for an integration project.

Are 300 m range and sub-millimetre precision guaranteed for every target?

No. Those are platform capability references, not universal guarantees. Usable range and precision depend on target reflectivity and material, geometry, field of view, update rate, integration time, environment, calibration and acceptance method. Validate performance against representative targets and conditions.

Does solid-state operation remove the need for system integration and validation?

No. The absence of moving beam-steering parts simplifies the sensing architecture but does not eliminate optical-window, thermal, mechanical, electrical, timing, data-interface, software, electromagnetic-compatibility, eye-safety and product-level validation work.

Does ANT automatically classify objects or guarantee safe operation in rain, fog or dust?

No. Radial velocity and range can be inputs to a classification system, but classification depends on the customer’s algorithms, training and validation. Weather and particle performance must be tested against the required range and confidence thresholds; the sensor alone does not guarantee system safety.
